At Via Suecia, we pride ourselves to help hikers enjoy the journey through Sweden. It doesn’t matter if you’re from Säffle or Paris, we’ll be here for you, regardless. Coming into our fifth year in 2026, we will celebrate it by introducing The Support Package. Because we understand how important your quest is so we’ll have your back.
Via Suecia doesn’t charge you as we believe in the Hiker Ethos. Because we care about you and not your money. This is what you can expect from us in 2026:
Phone Support
Yes, we have our own Hiker Support Hotline. It’s cool.
Equipment Support
Yes, if you need help with your gear we will help you out. Last year we sent tentpoles, i.e. to a hiker when that failed. He did good.
Tips, Maps & Videos
Yes, this is important. BC Via Suecia is a trail it’s good to know more about it. As of 2026, the whole trail has been filmed and is on YouTube for everyone to see. Together with the maps you can prepare and enjoy it before you leave.
Uppdated info along the Trail
Yes, we try to give you as accurate info as possible by checking it frequetly: where to buy food, opening hours, boats etc.
Fetch & Return Support
Yes, we do actually pick up hikers to help with resupplying, staying, washing etc. And we bring them back to the trail too. Trail Magic by our Trail Angels.
Temporary Phonecard for hikers from abroad
Yes, if you need one we will help with that too.
Trail Angel Stay-in-Home Support
Yes, our Trail Angels will invite you to their own home as a guest.

The Deal
The Support Package is only given to registered hikers following the Via Suecia exclusively, we are sure you understand that. This means, to be clear, that you can’t use our free support and resources while at the same time be paying commercial private companies to “hike”. It’s not fair and against our core values and ethos.
