The longest trail in Sweden
Going the length of the country, it is the longest Swedish trail. The Trail is digital, and you can find maps covering it here.
As you hike The Via Suecia, you’ll follow in the footsteps of its founder, Benny Borgh who walked it all the way in 2021.
In the midst of the COVID pandemic, it was his replacement for hiking the CDT, which runs through Colorado and Wyoming where his ancestors live, not far from the trail. Much of the hiking culture from different parts of the world has been included in this magnificent trail.
In 2023 he skied NOBO from Sälens Högfjällshotell where the trail head for the Southern part of Kungsleden is, carrying his ski equipment all the way from Smygehuk.

Enjoy!
The Trail is currently 2623,3 km long (Smygehuk – Treriksröset).
